To my daily coffee drinkers: You don't need harsh strips. Here is how I finally got my teeth white without those horrible "zingers"

I drink 2–3 cups of coffee a day, and over the last few years, my teeth definitely started looking a bit yellow. I tried Whitestrips and whitening trays, but they gave me the absolute worst "zingers"—those random, shooting pains that make it impossible to even breathe in cold air. I also tried trendy charcoal toothpaste, until my dental hygienist warned me it was basically rubbing sandpaper on my teeth and destroying my enamel. I finally asked her what the best everyday toothpaste is for general health and gentle whitening, and she gave me a routine that completely changed my smile. First, I switched to an electric brush to break up plaque better. Second, I completely ditched the harsh whitening pastes and switched to Sensodyne Gentle Whitening. I honestly thought Sensodyne was just for sensitive teeth, but it doesn't have the harsh abrasives that scratch your enamel; instead, it gently lifts the coffee stains over time while hardening my enamel so much that I can eat ice cream again without wincing. Finally, the real secret technique: do not rinse after brushing! Just spit the excess toothpaste out so the protective fluoride and desensitizing ingredients can sink in. It took about a month of doing this twice a day, but my teeth are back to a really clean, natural white with zero pain. I gave maybe too much details but yeah. Has anyone else given up on the strips?
