Went by GameStop today to see if they had any currency and all I saw was megaman CBs. Just checked online and they are not even listing Currency S5 at all. Nothing. Not even "sold out". Anyone know what's going on there?

My spidey senses are tingling and I feel Inam sensing a scam, but wanted to put some feelers out here before making a formal accusation.
A few weeks ago, I announced a bounty for a card in the sub. Yesterday, someone reached out to me claiming they pulled the card, no pic yet, something about them waiting to receive it. This person has a long standing reddit account with less than 1k karma, a few former posts in the sub, and 1 trade cred.
As such, I asked that either they send the card first or we use a mutual 3rd party. Their ask was that I pay with crypto but would take paypal with a 25% price increase. I replied that I would do crypto once i received the card. They said they would review my history in the sub and let me know.
About 45 minutes later, they said they weren't comfortable sending the card first as I only had a few transactions. No mention of using a third party, ignored the fact that i have plenty of trade cred. To me, this screams attempted scam, so i just replied "whatever". But this morning it is still bugging me that if it is a scammer, they may be targeting others.
So, not sure if it is or is not, but wanted to share my story and see what others in the community would do.
