I love this game and always come back to re play it. Does anyone want to get a full lobby and do a full playthru?

Alright guys, here's what happened. I plugged my power brick into my ally (BASE rog ally). Immediately, I see a small plume of smoke and smell an atrocious burning plasticy burnt smell. Upon noticing this, time slowed down. Immediately, with speed comparable to The Flash, I ripped the charger out of the ally. There were no glitches, aside from the smell at this point. I inspect type c port with flashlight for 30 minutes. I see nothing aside from a little bit of crud in there. I cleaned the crud out (some dirt really) and tried to plug the brick back in, nothing happens. I tried my anger 100w pd block, nothing. So now im sitting there, staring into space after realize I may have fried my ally. Well, fast forward 2 hours later, its now dying and out of desperation, I plugged my phone charger in. It started charging? What the? The battery continued to just plummet due to only receiving 5 volts. Left it plugged in overnight, it was full in the morning. Tried the charging block and my anker block again, nothing.

So here's my question.

Is there some kind of board attached to the motherboard that controls charging?

And the most IMPORTANT question

Is my ally fixable? This thing has been with me since the rog ally originally launched and I cant lie I have a sentimental attachment to it. But, if it costs more than its worth to fix, I dont want to just throw money at it.

Any advice is appreciated. My buddies keep asking to buy ut for parts and I have said no over and over.
