I made a Reddit account just for this. Im seriously thinking of buying an electric guitar but i have never owned one, and have no experience in music whatsoever.

I asked chatgpt to help me and it recommended me yamaha pacifica 112J and squier sonic stratocaster hss mn. The squier is the cheapest option however Im thinking that I really wanna make this decision to learn long term so I don't want to judge based on prices. I wish to hear what all the pros here have to say.

Is there a better guitar for a beginner ? Between these two options what's the better one? Please tell me your experiences
