How do I ensure my cat will know how to come home
I have an outdoor cat (not my choice, but my parents dont like the smell of cat's urine and popo) and he'a honestly been doing great since we got him (3 years ago when he was 4 moths old) He comes when called and usually doesn't disappears for days. BUT we recently rescued a new kitten, she's 11 months now and she's been inside for the 3 months she arrived home.
My parents are getting impatient about the litter box and I don't know how to introduce her to "the outside" without giving the risk that she may not come back home. She'a rebelious and has succesfully escaped home 3 times (all 3 caught outside after a few minutes) only comes when called when its food related, otherwise completely ignores me when I call her name. Any advice? I can't afford to live on my own so its this or "letting her be"
(Yes, both of my cats have their vaccines complete and are very healthy 🤭❤️)
