I'm watching Six Singles Under One Roof right now and love it so much. But I'm barely 30 minutes into episode 4 and all the use and mention of AI and ChatGPT is ruining it for me..first Sujin is using it to decide what to eat and even has a name for it, then Dahee uses it to interpret her dream, and now they're all using it to manipulate pictures for a prank. The last one isn't too bad but it's just annoying in general, especially when people use it for things they could just google..

So much of the content I usually really like uses AI in some way now and it totally turns me off, at best temporarily if not permanently. Like the beginning of Bake Your Dream using AI instead of a real animator, or Trick Kode (youtube) suddenly having a whole segment dedicated to AI descriptions and pictures of the contestants...

Idk i just had to rant because it gets to a point seriously. I still really like this show though, I like the idea of people just living together without it being a dating or competition show it's so fun.

(edit - I know SK loves their AI slop just as much if not more than the next guy but it's still very annoying)

I'm not finished with it yet and never want to finish it, but I'm watching The Village Barber right now and it's just so great. I started it because of Park Bogum, who I feel like makes me want to be a kinder and better person and this show is doing the same thing. It's such a sweet show, of course it's television but it's so nice seeing the cast interact with the villagers and actually bond with them as the days go on. Even the celebrity guests give it their all and they're only working there for few hours. Something about it makes me feel so healed and warm.

I don't really watch many reality/variety shows, so it would be nice to get some similar recommendations! The streaming services I have right now are Viki, Prime (with Kocowa and CJ subscriptions), and US Netflix.
