A young woman abandoned by her lover is shunned by the people of her small religious town after refusing to believe he fled the scene of a deadly crime. Following the last signal from his cell phone, she arrives at the location where he was last seen and discovers a gruesome crime scene that shatters her sense of reality.
Consumed by grief and desperate for answers, she returns in search of the truth, only to find herself haunted by the silent presence of a ghost. As the line between reality and illusion begins to blur, she must decide whether to accept the devastating truth or surrender to the fantasy of a lover who never left.
