I was so lucky to have attended Red Rocks tonight and Ella put on an absolutely amazing show BUT the crowd was pretty dead which made me so sad. Almost no one around me was singing along until she started playing Be Her and Choosin’ Texas. There were also people sitting and a lot of people left before she even finished her last few songs. Did anyone else feel the same way or was it just my section? I was really close to the front so I was expecting people around me to actually know her songs outside of Choosin’ Texas. It makes me sad because her entire discography is so so good! I wish people would listen to her older work as well.
