Ope, Leo… just gonna sneak right past ya there and scoop that dog poop. 😂
They can’t all be disgusting
New video, new transition. Lmk what you think and how I can make these more captivating or better hooks.
This yard took me over 3 hours to do!!!
For context, I absolutely asked people with yards that are really really bad and that’s what I got 🤣 4 dogs and I don’t think he’s ever cleaned up. What are some other things that’ll help my next video?
Facebook post exploded now I have too many requests
Alright Facebook, I need a little help.
I’m looking for a yard that has gotten way out of hand with dog poop.
And I mean genuinely out of hand — maybe it’s been months, the grass is overgrown, life got busy, someone got hurt, you inherited the mess, whatever the reason.
Zero judgment. Seriously.
I run Yard Patrol, and I want to film a before-and-after cleanup showing what we can do when a yard feels like it’s gotten past the point where anybody wants to deal with it.
If you or someone you know has a yard like that around the Hugo / North Metro area, send me a private message and a couple pictures.
I’ll clean the yard up for free.
I just need permission to film the cleanup. I don’t need to show your name, house number, or anything that identifies you.
So if you’ve been staring out the window thinking, “Yeah… I don’t even know where to start with that,” this is your sign.
Send me the yard. I want the bad one.
Have a couple ideas for this one, this is my first version. My other ideas are pretty silly lol
Got 100 yard signs to start with and two shirts. One polo for door knocking, and one crewneck for scooping. What do you guys think of these? And which physical marketing item gained you the most customers
Do you think these are befitting me by creating a certain type of online brand, or hurting me? Do you think they are driving people away, or does the engagement make it worth it?
First time feeling discouraged
Tbh, I have no reason to feel like this other than a momentary feeling of failure.
I started up about a month ago and everyone I talked to said it sounded like a great idea. I checked my area and only one company (other than the giants) service my area, and I’ve never seen any other poop scoop company in this area.
I’ve been posting to the local groups, door knocking as much as I can (two small children, a full time job and a wife, so not as much as I’d like) and I’ve gotten some soft interest from people.
Let me ask, how long did it take to get your first customer, and how long did it take for you to get your second customer. Other than word of mouth, what do you feel was your best avenue at obtaining g new customers?
Feel free to judge the website yard-patrol-mn.com
Need a Local Excel Workbook to Sync with Google Sheets Automatically and return the information back to Excel
I’m trying to automate a workflow at my job, and I’m not sure if what I’m trying to accomplish is possible.
Here’s my setup:
I have a master Excel workbook stored on our company’s local network drive. This is the file everyone works from.
I also have a Google Sheet that I want field technicians to update from their phones while they’re out completing work.
What I’d like to happen is:
Data from the Excel workbook automatically populates the Google Sheet so technicians have all the customer and job information they need.
The technician updates the Google Sheet in the field (meter numbers, installation information, notes, etc.).
Once they’re finished, those updates automatically sync back to the original Excel workbook on the local network drive.
The problem is that the Excel file isn’t stored in OneDrive or SharePoint—it’s on a local file server. Most of the solutions I’ve found (Power Automate, Office Scripts, etc.) seem to require cloud-hosted Excel files.
Has anyone built something like this before?
Is there a way to automatically sync a locally hosted Excel workbook with Google Sheets? Would I need some kind of middleware or scheduled sync application? Is there a better way to handle this workflow without moving the Excel file to the cloud?
Maybe I’m thinking about this all wrong. I’m open to any solutions or ideas.
