learn from my mistake… do NOT ship a TV on your own
a few weeks ago I (23F) moved from california to illinois after graduation. i was stalking this subreddit to see what was the best possible way to ship a TV since i did not have enough large items to justify hiring movers or driving a u-haul cross country… ANYONE who is thinking about shipping a TV just do not do it. i had it in one of those large boxes with foam and the pads around the corners and a whole bunch of wrapping. it did NOT work at ALL. see picture attached for details. the amount i spent on shipping could have just got me another TV. learn from my mistake and just don’t even try. just sell the TV and use those proceeds for a new TV.
moving also sucks so godspeed to anyone in the process right now. feel free to reach out on any other advice for moving if you need it!
