Has anyone here actually bought LinkedIn job search courses (Wonsulting, Cultivated Culture, etc.)? Is it worth the money or just marketing?
Hi everyone,
I've been seeing an overwhelming amount of paid courses and job search bootcamps lately, all promising to teach you "how to land a job using LinkedIn." Names like Wonsulting (Jonathan Javier/Jerry Lee), Austin Belcak (Cultivated Culture), and Madeline Mann are constantly popping up on my feeds with massive marketing campaigns.
They all claim to share the "ultimate blueprint" to hack the LinkedIn algorithm, bypass online applications through cold outreach, and attract recruiters directly. Since these courses can be quite expensive—especially when you are unemployed or trying to pivot into a new role—I am genuinely curious about their real-world effectiveness.
I wanted to open an honest discussion here. Has anyone in this community actually invested in any of these premium programs or mentorships? If so, what was your experience?
Specifically, I’d love to know:
- Does the paid content offer anything revolutionary, or is it just a repackaged version of advice you can easily find for free on YouTube, Reddit, or blogs?
- Did applying their exact methods actually lead to interviews and job offers for you?
- In the end, do you feel like it was a solid investment, or would you say that organic networking and a strong portfolio are still the only things that truly matter?
I'd really appreciate any genuine feedback or reviews, whether positive or negative. Thanks in advance!
