Hardware or Software problem?
Hey everyone
I’ve been using my Galaxy Tab A9+ for about 2 years now, and I’ve recently run into a frustrating display issue.
While watching videos on YouTube, I noticed that the date and time from the notification panel are faintly visible in the background. Also, whenever I switch from a light-themed app (like Samsung Notes) to a dark-themed app, I can still faintly see the text and UI elements from the previous app ghosting on the screen.
Additionally, when I rotate the screen, the same issue persists, but the ghost image of the date and time stays in its original spot while the actual system clock updates to the new position.
> Here is what I’ve tried so far to fix it:
> Reset all settings.
* Disabled/uninstalled customization apps like Good Lock (thought it might be a UI glitch).
* Messed around with every possible display setting.
* Performed a full factory reset.
> Unfortunately, nothing worked. I'm still trying to figure out if this is a software bug or a permanent hardware issue (burn-in). Has anyone else experienced this on their Tab A9+? Any advice on whether I should take it to service? Thanks in advance!
