Which AI router is everyone using and how well has it been working?

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to AI routers but I've been diving deep in the rabbit hole the past few weeks. Made a post last week asking how the model selection logic works, as I thought it was worth a try to make one myself. Going to put that on hold for now and look for already existing routers. Currently looking at LiteLLM or Ramp Router, which seems to be promising for token cost cutting which is the main thing I want this for.

Just wanna ask if you guys would recommend any of those or alternatives, and how effective it's been for you. Thanks everyone!

International taxes for ecommerce help needed

Hey everyone, quick context, I'm still relatively new to ecommerce (about half a year now) and so far I ship only in the US. I made a post about a month ago asking for tax help, and got the advice of registering an LLC and just using sheets + shopify tax. I've been doing that and so far it's gone fine.

So now I'm looking to start shipping internationally (mainly to the UK for now), and I'm looking for advice on how to deal with international taxes. I looked a bit into it and what I got was I need to register for UK VAT with HMRC to collect tax on orders under £135. Problem is I'm not sure on the actual process of the registrations and everything else that follows. Not to mention, I was thinking of shipping to EU countries and seems like the process is more complex.

Right now I'm leaning towards just using a merchant of record through Shopify Managed Markets, but the fees seemed a bit rough. Also considering a specialized ecommerce accountant with ecomcpa / bean ninjas, but haven't decided on anything yet. Ideally if I can get away with doing this myself, I'd prefer to but I'm not sure if it's worth the timesink.

TLDR: International taxes are overwhelming, looking for advice on where to start processing it or if outside help is worth it.

How well do AI routers handle model selection?

Hey guys, I've been thinking about trying out an AI router to help me cut token spend. But at the same time I'm also tempted to build a basic setup myself, even though I'm still not too sure on how to model the selection logic. Either way, I've just been really tempted to try this out from all the reports and reviews that I've seen.

So yeah, just want to know how well do AI routers like LiteLLM or Ramp Router (or literally any other routers) handle the model selection. Have they been working out for you in terms of token cost saving? Would like to hear more reviews from the people that've tried these out. Thanks guys.

Scheduling and invoicing options for solo residential cleaner?

Hey guys, so I used to work for a bigger cleaning company but I've moved and I'm now running my own residential cleaning service. I've stuck with Jobber for about a month but it's just way too heavy for what I need, especially since I mainly just want something to help with scheduling and invoicing. I've been looking at lighter alternatives like ZenMaid, Tofu, or Housecall Pro, but I'm not sure yet. At this point I'm also tempted to just go back to using the good old Google calendar + notes with QB again lol.

Just looking for recommendations I guess, thanks.

Need help with taxes for Shopify

Hey guys, I'm a relative newcomer to ecommerce / dropshipping (~3 months) and I've mostly been doing it as just a side hustle. I only sell domestically, and the product is mainly hiking gear and accessories. There's been a huge up spike the past month and I'm now worrying about how I pay taxes.

I've done a bit of looking around and the three options I've gathered are either doing it myself, finding an accountant, or using a merchant of record. I know Shopify has their built-in Shopify Tax but what I got is that it's just to help you calc tax at checkout, not the filing itself. For the accountant angle, there's an accounting firm across my flat but I know people tell you to use specialized ecommerce accountants (ecom cpa, bean ninjas, etc). As for merchants of record, it looks like unless I want to pay a huge cost they're mostly meant for digital goods (please correct me if I'm wrong on this).

Anyways yeah, I guess main point of the post is which of the three options would be better? I'm currently leaning towards trying out myself til I decide it's too much, but I'm not sure yet. Would love your input on this, thanks.

My boyfriend's lifelong dream is to open his own restaurant, I wanna be supportive but the costs don't look realistic

I've been with my boyfriend for years now, actually almost a decade. He's in the HVAC industry and not exactly aligned with the food sphere, so hearing him bring up opening up his own restaurant was always refreshing. However, he's convinced that he can take out a big loan and get ROI in under a year, which I told him is unrealistic. I've done my research already and I'm sure little to none of these small restaurants turn a profit for so so long. And I don't want us to be drowning in debt, esp. since we're talking about marriage already.

Not sure if I'm being too negative, but this just seems far too unrealistic, and he wants to quit his HVAC job as well to focus mostly his quote unquote "restaurant." And although I'm pretty uncofmrtable disclosing where we live, I can definitely say that we're in the list for top 10 worst states to start a restaurant, but idk. I dont want to show him the comments and be like "i told you so", I just wanna confirm that we're not throwing noney away
