Hey there,

I'm currently in a renovation and installing a multi zone whole home audio setup, I'm using the wiim ecosystem to create the zones. I'm creating 4 zones as of right now kitchen/dining, patio, office, bedroom/bathroom, my thought was to use my existing 5.1 AVR (Yamaha rx-v483) from my old home theatre from my last house to create another zone for my living room.

Would a wiim mini connected to AVR by Optical be my best option to introduce the AVR into the ecosystem and enable it to stream music with the rest of the house?

My plans are to install a wall mounted iPad to easily control the system, plus all other smart products I have.
