Hi everyone,

I’m in a bit of a conundrum. As per the title, a family member, who recently passed, put me in their will. I’d receive way over the $2,000 limit.

I get Medicaid/ForwardHealth in Wisconsin because I have ESRD and am dialysis-dependent. I can’t lose my Medicaid and am afraid to outright deny the money in case they consider that assets or something. I was sent a Payable on Death claim form to fill out by the executor of my relative’s will and don’t know what to do or who to talk to.
