(Reposting bc I apparently never acknowledged that I read the sub rules so my post was auto deleted).

Okay I need to know. How are we pronouncing Wiebe? I’ve always pronounced it as “Weeb” or “WEE-buh” in my head, but I’ve never said it out loud. In German (its origin) it would probably be pronounced “VEE-buh,” but I’m not sure Canadians would default to the original pronunciation of a name like that (the same way we in the US would “Americanize” a name from another culture).

So what are we doing? I need to know 😂
