Hi! 30F here. I see so much about all the negatives to dating here in town. Does anyone have any success stories? What worked for you?

I recently joined a church and have been hanging out and having fun more than I have in years living here. No dates but I feel like I may be close. Has anyone had success and/or just overall fun at any of the weekly trivias, karaokes, type events? I'd love to hear them.
