My unique Baclofen experience

About a year ago, I got hurt pretty badly. I could barely stand up or function normally. I went back and forth between my family doctor and a chiropractor, had X-rays done, and was desperate for answers and relief.

My doctor prescribed Baclofen. I was hesitant to take it because I’ve always hated taking medication. Even with broken ribs in the past, I refused stronger pain meds like oxycodone or tramadol. I’ve never had issues with drugs or alcohol ( I just genuinely don’t like taking anything unless I absolutely have to.)

Eventually, I decided to take the Baclofen exactly as prescribed, only when needed.

Physically, I started feeling better day by day. But I also noticed some unexpected changes. I had more energy, couldn’t sit still, became extremely productive, and I was sleeping better too.

Then came another side effect I wasn’t expecting at all.

I started feeling intensely… aroused out of nowhere. Strong enough that it genuinely concerned me. There were days I felt so physically sensitive and uncomfortable that I actually made another appointment with my doctor to ask what was going on.

I had already mentioned it to my husband because it was affecting both my body and my thoughts in a way I couldn’t really ignore or control. The best way I can describe it is: for me, Baclofen acted almost like “female Viagra.” And I’m honestly not joking. He loved it.

Has anyone else ever experienced something similar with this medication?
