Enfamil AR transition

Enfamil AR was our ticket out of the Nicu.. 4 weeks later we are looking for another option as our little ones reflux is much better and we feel it actually might be making her fussier. We are trying to get to exclusively breast feeding but need to fortify our breastmilk for a bit longer, and are still doing some full formula bottles during the night. Any suggestions of a good transition formula? Bonus points for 22 cal!

Feeding at home vs nicu

Hi! My 32 weeker, now correct 39 is home!

In the NICU we switched to AR towards the end and she was guzzling 60-70 ml in 10 minutes! Now that we are home we are stil on AR she will take 90 ml then 30 etc and then breast twice a day… feeling anxious about going from something so measured to just following her lead and hoping she is gaining weight… advice thoughts? We have a ped appt this week to check in on weight..

Enfamil AR experience!?

In a baby with reflux! We are gonna start trying tomorrow. My girl was born at 32 weeks and is now almost 38. We are hoping the thicker formula helps get her home… right now we are plateaued hovering from 50-60% of independent feeds in the NICU. Experience with this !? Positive or negative !

Grower feeder with some steps backwards…

Hi my 32 weeker now 37 has been doing great with her feeds, last few days of percentages has been 40%,60%,40%, and 50% and so on…

Last night and today she’s been so sleepy. Shes had 2 Brady’s, 1 while feeding that needed stimulation. She hasn’t done that in a few weeks… they did a blood panel and all looks good. She still has anemia but it’s improving (28.5%, was 27%) and she’s dealing with some reflux.

I guess Id love to hear any similar stories, or just some advice or insight. Feeling like we took 100 steps backwards when home felt closer.

feeder/grower but wanting to get her home

My 32 weeker now 37 weeker is doing great with feeds she’s averaging 60 percent independent over a 24 hour period. The day before she was 46 percent and then 40 and so on. The doc keeps saying it will just click and to not think into this progression too much. Did it just click for yours ? Or can I have hope she will hit 80 in the next 2-3 days? Each week it feels like this is the week and then it’s not. Any expense insight or anything is so much appreciated.

Preemie anemia

My baby girl was born at 32 weeks and is now 36. She had her 1 month blood test and her hematocrit came back lower at 27.5% and her Retic is at 4.5%. Our big thing on going home is her feedings… her anemia can be addressed at pediatricians. But she’s still so sleepy at some of her feeds we are stuck at her doing 25% of her daily feeds independently. I think some of it has to do with her anemia. I’ve also been told 36 weekers can have a sleepy period because of growth. Tips? Thoughts? Similar experience?

35 Week corrected eating

Hi my 32 weaker is now 35 weeks. She’s eating 52 ml per feed every 3 hours. I would say every other feed she will eat 50% via bottle. When do you say the stamina picks up? How do I stay patient and is there anything I can do!? This is the only thing keeping us at Nicu :) also appreciate stories of similar situations and how it played out.

Caffeine and Brady events

My 32 weeker who is now 34 went off caffeine 5 days ago and her Brady events have increased from 1-2 to now 5-6. They are gonna put her on a 3 day Bolus. I’m worried and would love to hear some success stories.
