Best Way to Name a Series??

I've finished my third book and on the 3 covers I want to add something that tells people that this is a series.

Each book has a different title, so no way to link them like “Harry Potter and the”….etc

Example…

Novel Title – The ‘Name’ Series – Book 1

Novel Title – The ‘Name’ Series – Book 2

Novel Title – The ‘Name’ Series – Book 3

 Is there a better way….?.....Any ideas…..?

EDIT - Thx to everyone who commented!!

*Book 1 and 2 are published (ebooks) so I can't change the title, BUT apparently you can add a subtitle..? "Series - Book 1" etc... I'm hoping that's right..!!

Just finished the first draft, third book in my trilogy...!!

And I’m very pleased with myself. Edits and rewrites to come, but it feels good to get 110k words on the page…!

I’ve self published the other two and will add this to the series. I have no sales or reviews, but maybe now I have three, I night start working on promotion.

The only reason I wanted to write a novel is because I love to read and wanted to see if I could do it. It’s a hard, challenging task and it doesn’t really matter if no one ever reads my books. When I die, they’ll be on my book shelf collecting dust. It’s very satisfying holding your own creation in your hands.

Telling an in depth detailed story in novel form really is a challenging, joyful experience.

A few notes that I’ve learned (some from famous authors) that helped me:

Don't write for money or fame, it's highly likely you'll never achieve either.

The first draft of anything is shit.

A novel is written one word at a time.

Start with something exciting or dangerous or mysterious to engage the reader.

Introduce the characters, give them a problem, then let them solve it.

There are no rules, but you break them at your peril….!!😉

Good luck with your writing adventure…! Now get offline and back to that book…!!
