How seriously are you going through the official PMP Exam prep course (new syllabus)?
I’m curious how you’re using PMI’s OFFICIAL 35-hour Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Prep Course NOT the PMBOK Book.
Are you:
Going through every chapter carefully and trying to a
understand/retain pretty much everything?
Reading/watching it at a reasonable pace to get the concepts, but not worrying about every detail?
Basically getting through the course and then putting most of your effort into Study Hall, practice questions/exams, and other resources?
I’m currently going through the course and finding myself stopping on almost every paragraph to make sure I fully understand it. It’s starting to feel very slow, and I’m wondering if I’m putting way too much emphasis on mastering the course itself rather than using it as a foundation and learning more through practice questions.
For those who have already taken the new version of the exam, I’d especially love to hear what worked for you.
How deeply did you study the actual prep course, and looking back, would you do it the same way?
