All I want to list to is tori all the time again now because of ITOD. Revisiting Native Invader.

My god this album is fantastic. Up the creek has to have one of the best piano solos of her career.

Favourites:

Reindeer King

Cloud Riders

Climb

Breakaway

Broken arrow

Benjamin

Up the Creek

Mary's Eyes

Russia

Skip for me:

Chocolate song

Wildwood

Very solid album indeed and I wish it got more attention. Edit: added Russia to faves, how could I forget Russia!

ITOD: i don't know what it is, but this album hits different.

I'm a massive tori fan. Going on 20 years (so since I was like a little gayby), and I personally have loved LOTS of post Scarlett's walk work. TBK is a classic tori album, i dont care what anyone thinks. ADP was a swing in another direction which I think in retrospect was a great work of art. Lots of good stuff (almost rosey, roosterspur bridge, bouncing off clouds, and more) and even AATS. I think this was the first time production let her down as there were some greats there, same goes for midwinter graces (who didn't adore pink and glitter??).

Anyway we all know that period was the most divisive and things picked up around Unrepentant Geraldine's (i mean that entirely in a "popular opinion" way. Night of hunters is one of my favourite works for originality reasons).

Back to my point, I think Ocean to Ocean was, not a "return to form", but a return to the pop/ rock song structure. I really appreciated it and it was a great album, one of my favourites.

This album however... this channels something entirely different.

This is Tori at the best I've ever heard if im honest. I'm in love with her whole body of work, but this album, just musically and creatively is something else.

This really is Tori telling the music executives where to shove it. She's done something original, unique, beautiful and creative, all while giving a nod to her past work and remaining truly tori.

To me this isnt Pele 2 as many say, this is Little Earthquakes the sequal from another dimension, and not just because of the silent all these years reference, because it is just truly something other wordly while being completely tori.

I'm in love with this album. Its a 10 out of 10 for me. Its made me feel things music hasnt made me feel in a long time.

I had to put this somewhere because I just have a lot of emotions about this album and no one to talk about it with 😂.

Love to tori. The most respectable and ingenious musician I've ever come across in life. ❤️❤️❤️
