Seems like the coyotes are getting braver each day. I live in glen allen, used to see them rarely and if we did it would generally be at night or early morning.
Now they are just out in the daytime consistently, see one almost everyday.
This year, I’ve seen lots of videos or witnessed coyotes chasing people and their dogs. One jumped my fence and into my backyard the other day. I was on my porch this morning and someone was yelling. Man came jogging down with his dog (larger dog) and had 2 coyotes chasing him down the street.
I know the county won’t really do anything, I just worry.
I think back to stories of people being attacked in Calgary and hope our community doesn’t have that happen.
