Plant container roses now or in Sept? Zone 10
Rose newbie here! I came upon a lovely pair of David Austin Princess Alexandra of Kent roses in 5 gal pots, and had to take them home with me! However, I live in Zone 10 and the final place in the yard I eventually want them in has full sun, all day. Of the two options below, which is best?
(1) Repot into a larger container for now, and wait until September to plant in the yard. This allows me to move them around to less sunny / scorching areas of the backyard as needed while I wait for September
(2) Plant in the yard now, and install some kind of shade fabric over them during the summer, and water thoroughly
