I’m Fully Convinced People Just Like Bad Photos

Just saw a 10-photo instagram post of a city in Italy that I’ve personally documented a lot of. Shit had 10k likes and a bunch of verified accounts saying how “fire the set is”.

The poster put an insane blue-green filter over it and took photos of the corners of buildings and sidewalks, effectively the same as if you accidentally hit the shutter button on your iPhone when you’re walking down the road.

It’s like I’m in clown-world. Should I just ditch the principle of taking a photo of “something” and just take a photo of nothing?

TLDR: photoshopped sidewalk photo tonez gets gold medals and my photos get short-bus treatment
