Six months out (and a question)
Got my top surgery done with Dr. Robertson in Edmonton back in February.
I’m super happy about the areola placement and the scars, and I already have a lot of sensation back—but my actual nipples died during healing. I’m going to be talking to Dr. Robertson in a couple weeks for a follow up appointment, and she said we could discuss revision options then. But honestly, I don’t even mind how everything turned out—my only concern is, are people going to stare at me when I take my shirt off at the pool?
Like, scars aside, is this really clearly “omg that looks fucked up”, or could it look within the range of what a normal cis man’s chest/nipples would look like? I haven’t spent a ton of time staring at cis men’s nipples, so I just want some outside opinions 😅
