Arlin's Cops
I was at Arlin's Sunday night around 11 pm, leaving the bar to go to my car in the parking garage behind the shell.Walking up I saw a cop arresting a homeless man and thought nothing of it besides the usual, "it's illegal to be homeless and exist", rhetoric.
I get in my car and 4 more cop cars pull up for this one white man. A larger female cop struggles out of her vehicle and goes up to this black man sitting on the steps leading up from the lot. I don't know what was said, but he began to bash out the nearby car windows, including my friends who was stuck at the bar because the overwhelming police response.
The first cop had the situation under control and was leading the initial victim to the car, all the while needing assistance helping him down the slope of the lot. The 4 following units then blocked cars into the lot and breathalyzer'd anyone trying to leave while not moving their cars to let people out.
After the situation was escalated and the homeless were taken away 2 cops sat outside the bar and pulled anyone over leaving the lot. Some ginger looking freak pulled my partner over, who demanded a test on the grounds of leaving a bar, as if designated drivers don't exist?? We blew clear but will likely steer clear of this neighborhood with cops with a quota
