Does anyone know the story behind this mysterious “piercing man” from Ibiza?
I’ve been trying to find out more about this man for absolutely ages and I’m hoping someone here might recognize him.
He has been a very recognizable character around Ibiza’s nightlife scene for many years, apparently dating back to at least the early 2010s (possibly even earlier). He has an incredible amount of facial piercings/body modifications, very large stretched ears and lips, and usually wears the same very distinctive outfit with lots of chains, jewelry and ornaments on his head.
He seems to have been photographed and filmed countless times in Ibiza, but I can’t find his name, nickname, nationality, or any real information about him.
I found an article from 2015 about the “characters of Ibiza” which features him, but even the people who wrote the article said they didn’t have any details about him.
There’s also an old Ibiza forum post from 2016 where someone describes seeing a bald man with piercings and “fancy ornaments” on his head, dressed in a sari-type outfit, several times at Space and Playa d’en Bossa. This seems to be the same person.
More recently, he has been appearing again in TikToks and Facebook videos, usually simply being referred to as “Piercing Man Ibiza.”
I’ve also heard that he has been spotted in Berlin, although I haven’t been able to verify this.
Does anyone know who he is, or anything about his story?
I’m especially interested in how long he has been around Ibiza, whether he was part of the club/underground scene, and where this very distinctive look came from.
I’m not necessarily looking for his private/personal information — I’m just fascinated by the history behind this mysterious Ibiza character.
