Cannot seem to get interviews or any good offers in months… is it because of my resume?
I’ve updated it more and more and it’s become a lot better I believe and I thought that it was good but still can’t seem to get anything. The only interviews or calls seem to be illegitimate companies or only door to door sales companies that seem scammy. I’ve started just emailing businesses with a description of myself, my professional experience, my passions, what I know and what I’m looking for and attach my portfolio, LinkedIn, and resume. I’ve gotten some emails back but mostly people saying my stuff is impressive but they’re not hiring for what I’m seeking. I wanted full time employment that utilizes hopefully lots of my skills in art, design, marketing even. At this point I would even do some admin work just to get a foot in door but can’t even get to an interview stage anywhere. Is the resume good or needs improvement I want one singular one that works for many jobs that has key words for my skills and stuff that lots of jobs list. Also I don’t know if it’s too long but I don’t know how I would shorten it without removing information that I think is relevant.
