Advise with iPhone X; logged in but can't reset
Hey everyone, I need some help with my iPhone X.
So I have my old phone, I know the passcode and everything, but it's still linked to my old iCloud account. I have tried everything including contacting Apple with no success since I bought it second hand. I want to do a full reset and set it up with my own Apple ID, but I'm stuck because:
I can't reset it without entering the password/having access to an email I don't have
If I manage to reset it, it will prompt me with an activation lock and I'll be locked out
I would like to know what options do I have. I have read that I can use hackt1vator if I reset the device but is there a way to do it such that I retain access to my cellular data and also be able to set a passcode again to my device and login with another account?
