Here is a picture I took with my Fujifilm XH-1 with a 15-45mm zoom lens set to 23mm at f/3.5 and with ISO 1600.
The image is a stack of multiple ~ 20s images resulting in a ~ 20minute total integration time (I can’t remember the exact details).

The quality of the sky is not great and compared to the some of the Milky Way images I see, it’s no where near the same level. I am guessing a star tracker (which I have but don’t really use) and better processing at the way to go. Do you have any tips or advice on how I can improve the quality of my images, specifically of the sky?

Hello all,

I’ve come upon this nice little jagged peaks mountain ring, and I want to build a sort of castle / fortress here for my main base. I’m not really sure about how I can use the terrain to my advantage and to elevate the build.

Especially, I want the base to look good with the peaks when viewed from a distance. The peak I’m standing on in pic 1 looks like pic 3 from a distance (a double peak formed with the one to my left). That same peak also has a natural tunnel entrance to the inside of the ring, and this can be seen as an arch from another viewpoint in the distance.

Any suggestions or ideas?
