Elastic strap keeper alternatives

Possibly I am not the only one losing those little things every couple of weeks without noticing.
Seems like you either have to roll up and fold slag strap a million times and create a small brick that requires superhuman strength to pull the strap keeper over.
Or you don’t like me and then you lose them every once in a while. Both not that great.
In short: does someone know a good alternative that can’t be lost this easily?

Savotta Mesh Bag appreciation

They’re simply perfect for summer vacation. First you use them as compression bags for undies, socks, sportswear etc., then you can use them as permeable sack for all the beach stuff that keeps dripping and is sandy.

Savotta Kangaskassi tactical tote bag

Sure, backpacks and pouches are great, but what about the peaceful days when you go to the beach with kids, shopping with your significant other or just do a grocery run nearby. I for once, would absolutely buy and use a tote bag from Savotta. Robust zipper, inside zipped mesh pockets like on the Niukka, a bladder or laptop sleeve - all the usual Savotta greatness but in a form factor you can carry under your shoulder.
What do you think? Would you buy it?

Another city trip with the Niukka

Starting to really like this backpack. Noticed some backsweat though and that was with medium weight and on a 26 degrees day in the Baltics. Ventilation is not really up to other backpacks and suffers from the military-inspired simple designs.

Niukka for city travel

First longer weekend travel with the Niukka and it did expectedly well. G-hooks drove the airport security crazy (again), but the organisation of this backpack is really thought through. Even in the most crowded situations you never doubt where you’re wallet, etc are because the inside zipped pockets and the firm outside clamshell zippers make it almost impossible to pickpocket from.
Had to remove the big sitting pads and put two Savotta mouse pads in the hydration bladder compartment and carrying comfort was perfect even fully packed and on long days. Overall, aside from the missing integrated bottle pouch, I’m really satisfied with the backpack.
Already using it for edc for a while, but will also take it on regular travels instead of the Kahakka.
