I never usually make personal posts like this but I really just wanted to share my love for this unconventional duo!! I could spend hours watching these two interact; the way Magus masks her care for Orphie with snark makes me cackle. I clock it every time.😏
Started on Day 1, left and came back during 1.4, been playing every day since. I'm F2P with the occasional monthly pass (only 2 so far), so extremely stingy with my polychromes. I do a ton of research on every agent that comes around for a month or so, read opinions that both glaze and trash them, then sit with it and see how I feel.
I also play only on mobile so I prioritize agent playstyle and versatility over anything else. I'm very slightly meta-focused for this game because it kind of demands it a bit, not because I like following the meta.
I couldn't get best girl+best gun on their release because I was out of polys. But I absolutely fell in love with their design and character during that patch's story. All the Obol Squad girls, really.
I got Sanby in the Exclusive Rescreening banner (F2P godsend, I tell ya!) because of this. I figured Orphie would be the next natural choice, seeing as I liked her too.
Fast forward to V2.8, I see she's having her rerun. I decide I'm going to pull. I do and I win the 50/50🥳
I expected to feel some sort of sadness, like I was wasting my hard-earned and carefully saved currency, but what I got was pure joy!🥹I walk around the overworld with them all the time, I do multiple DA and Shiyu runs with my Astra/Sanby/O&M team just for the fun of playing them together. You can see I clear the minimum requirement but my score varies each run (skill issue); I don't care because I'm having fun!!
...So much fun that a couple days later I pulled her W-engine too😂I had only planned for M0 with Marcato Desires!
