I'm craving something sweet (and when I say sweet, I mean SWEET), and I wanna try something new or unique. What do you guys suggest? Do you buy this dessert from a specific place or do you make it at home? What makes this dessert special?
I buy games on Steam from time to time and I always pay in AED, but a few days after I buy the game I go to check my banking app and I see an "AED International Transaction Fee" of about 2% of the game price. Every single time this charge comes in silently (no notification or anything) a few days later.
Is there any way to avoid this 2% fee? It adds up over time so if there's any card that has a lower fee or no fee for paying with dirhams online, I'll think about getting it.
Like I don't know if I'm stingy or what, but I feel like those hidden fees add up.
They'll offer me a "50% discount", but set a minimum spend of like 100 dirhams and the max discount value at 20 dirhams (this is an exaggeration, but so many offers aren't even close to how they're advertised).
Or if I want to pay cash, it's an extra charge. Is that even legal?
This frustration made me just go to the restaurant in person and eat there instead. The food tastes better there anyway.
