Anybody seen something three days ago?

What I don't get is, why didn't this person write/call SSB if they were misshandled by their security staff.

Trams and AC

We have AC in the yellow trams. Sometimes it cools normally, most of the time barely cooling, depending on the vehicle.

What is the reason for this discrepancy? I once asked a tram driver if he can turn on the AC and he told me he can't. In the sense that the central office does that. Sounds ridiculous to me, maybe he was lying.

Anybody with internal knowledge?

Love or hate?

I always liked Rothaus, just a perfectly ordinary local beer. Felt it had much more character than Wulle.

Went to my local store in S-Ost, and they had a case that expired in April of this year. Complained to the manager, he removed the case. Upon inspecting the other case, I realized it expired in September of '25!

Is it possible the people just don't like it?

What happened at Hbf right now?

20:40h, a woman in her 30s lying on the concrete floor with blood on her hand. Does not look homeless. Police around her. Any info?

What if the food is not spicy, even though it as described as spicy?

Never been to India, but I'm a big fan of Indian cuisine. Must have visited 40 restaurants all over Europe. Usually order Chicken/Lamb Vindaloo, which is the spiciest Indian dish I know.

Few days ago, I ordered it in Stuttgart and it was not spicy at all. Still ate it without complaint, since it was yummy. I know the owner since I've been there at least 50 times for Mittag. Went to him and complained that even though the food was good, it was not Vindaloo Chicken. He said that they make it mild because otherwise the guests complain. And that next time I should let the staff I want it spicy. Haha, it's my fault now.

What is the point of having spicy dishes on the menu, if you decide to make them non spicy? Help me understand.

A Night at the Opera

Twas Cinderella, a modern version. An interesting experience. Since I am an old fashioned guy, next time I'll have to make sure I am going to a classic rendition. To see how it was a 100 years ago.

As for the building itself, bedazzling. Numerous petite bars and balconies, staff everywhere, totally my cup of tea.

If a big dead branch fell on yo head, could you successfully sue the city?

The dead branch on the photo is not big enough to hurt an adult, obviously. I am just being curious. What would happen if a big dead branch hurt a passer by?

Beer donation experinece

After the game finished today, I went to Ostendplatz store and gave a three person group 6 cold beers. They were really thankful. After 20min, went to another Ostendplatz group and asked them if they were thirsty, telling I cqn get them beer. The "boss" of the group was really skeptical, asked me which kind of beer. I told him "Dinkelacker", and he made a disgusted grimace :)

Of course, he offered me nothing. Just left.

What a strange experience.

Still waiting for somebody to offer me a cold one on the street.
