My tiffen 12 grb1 and didiymum filter combinations creates amazing foliage separation

590 vs 720 vs 850 — the three IR filters everyone asks about, plotted from real measured transmission data. 590 still lets a lot of visible red through, which is why you get colour to work with. 850 is effectively pure IR: clean white foliage, no channel swapping to be done. 720 sits where most people start for a reason.

Every curve here is digitised from the manufacturer's datasheet, not estimated — and the tool tells you which is which. 237 filters, free, no signup. Stack any two and see what you'd actually get.

1200d I've added a classic ATn action for aerochrome from the creater H.H 1978 from an old flickr group. Pretty much nails it with a few extra tweaks try it on irlab.uk along with other classic aerochrome film stocks backed by the math, obviously you will need to use the corresponding filter to get the returns your aiming for

After seeing my friend fedia create great images with his purple lomography stack it inspired me (as it should you) to expand the capabilities of shooting other full spectrum images other than irchrome and such.

Happy with the results. I think my wb is slightly off but the separation and tones are pretty good

The islands in the distance were really something. A view I could never get bored of.

Nothing beats a tiffen 12 if youre aiming to recreate the classic aerochrome look. Irchrome filter really isn't dynamic enough for my person taste. Using my irlab.uk editing tool I don't have to wait til I get home to process images I take on my travels
