Coming back to Ragnarok
Hey guys,
Recently been doing a full replay of the God of War series after the announcement of Laufey. Made it through the Greek saga and a NG+ playthrough of 2018 on GMGOW over the last month or so. It was only my second playthrough of 2018, first time since 2020. I thought I might be overwhelmed with all of the build options and what not for NG+ in GoW 2018, but it came back to me pretty quick and had a blast utilizing all of the mechanics, weapons, and runic attacks from the jump.
I did a 100% run of Ragnarok on release, but never came back for a second playthrough or Valhalla. I know Valhalla has a lot of cosmetics and even >!the legacy rage mode that carries over to NG+.!< Before starting this run of Ragnarok, I figured I’d get a feel for what you all think may be best for this playthrough.
Would Valhalla be a good reintroduction to the mechanics of Ragnarok?
Should I finish Valhalla and then jump into NG+? Or start a fresh save and play Valhalla at the end of that run?
Might be overthinking it, but let me know what you guys think!
