Kubuntu with(out) Snap

I've been chasing the "perfect" lean setup for quite awhile. Minimal setup here, minimal setup there... Arch, Arch-based, back to plain Arch all to avoid snap packages. I've tried minimal installs of Kubuntu, but always felt they'd sneak into my build one way or another. Debian was a good run, too. But always felt too outdated in certain areas. So tonight, I caved and threw in the towel. I installed Kubuntu (again for the againth time) but didn't bother with avoiding Canonical's snaps. Here's what I've learned: not only are they not intrusive, but they are so damn easy to manage and contain. Discover even keeps different package types organized. Flatpaks, Snaps, Native packages are all have their own tabs so to keep up with what is what. With that said, avoiding snaps is actually way more trouble than it's worth. I hope this helps others who might be in a similar situation as I have been.

Another color palette I put together

It may not be the cleanest, gradient looking of the bunch. But to me, it's the most practical color palette.

I'm going to give Cachy a shot simply out of genuine curiosity. Is there any difference with how Plasma is handled? Similar to how other DEs throw subtle spins of their own? Just curious.
