The book that feels a little too personal
I don't think The Perks of Being a Wallflower is just a book to me. There's something about it that feels strangely personal.
When I read it, I found myself relating to the way Charlie looks at people, friendships, loneliness, and all those things that are difficult to put into words. Some parts felt like they were describing feelings I had experienced but never really knew how to explain.
What makes this book special to me isn't just the story. It's the feeling I get whenever I think about it. It reminds me of a certain time in my life, certain people, and a version of myself that I probably wouldn't understand as well without this book.
Maybe that's what makes a book truly special — when you don't just read it, but somehow see a little bit of yourself in it.
Perks will always be one of those books for me.
