My permanent address is outside the 60km radius (200km) from the campus, currently staying in a pg nearby the clg. and I have a guardian nearby. They haven't issued me a permanent id card yet, and are saying that even my VTOP will be blocked in a week if I don't take the hostel.

I don't want to take the hostel.

Please tell me how I can convince them to let me stay outside the campus.

Should I bring my guardian to talk to them? Will they agree?

Because I see a lot of students from other states staying outside the campus. Please tell me how you managed to do that?

I'm a pg fresher (MCA)student, I came to know that many companies ask for 80% in 12th. In my 12th boards, I studied total of six subjects - (English core, physics, chemistry, biology, Computer science and physical education). Whenever someone asks for my 12th percentage I usually calculate for (english, physics, chemistry, biology and computer science) which comes to 74.6% My doubt is, can I calculate my best 5 subjects? (Replacing chemistry with physical education)? Which comes to 80%

Even in my VIT application form, I said that my 12th percentage is 74.6% Now if I can choose my best 5 ? Can I change it to 80%? Is it possible? If so, how can I and when can I do it?
