Hi everyone,

I’ve been producing on and off for several years, but have recently been more serious about creating lots of demos under a separate artist identity and releasing them. I currently have 0 music out under my new artist identity, but lots of demos in the pipeline.

I make tech house and progressive house (my inspirations are Chris Lake, John Summit, BUNT, Fisher etc).

I would love to get to know a few tech house producers here; share techniques, exchange demos and just help each other grow. Thought this would be the best subreddit to post this on.

Hello. I am a tech house producer who currently uses Sennheiser HD280 Pro. Been struggling with the low end, particularly the sub frequencies. I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for mixing headphones below around $350. My main goal is to get accurate sub response (as accurate as you can get on cans). I can also apply corrective EQ if needed (Oratory1990 settings). I’m thinking of open back since my current ones are already closed back. I will be mixing at home only.
