Finding similar cards (MTG Replace update)
Last week, I was finally able to find some time to work on MTG Replace I added the preview of the card you are searching replacements for, an icon (like one person requested under the last post), and more links. I redesigned the website a bit to have a vintage vibe. You can now go from card to card by clicking the image. I added a similarity bar.
One of the biggest changes coming, however, is improvement in how alternatives are found. Many people complained about the current algorithm, so I decided to hand-categorize some cards. I will keep adding new ones. If you have a good alternative, feel free to fill out the form "Suggest a replacement" at the top of my page. I will review all submissions (it will take some time).
I am also keeping the algorithm, I really like the niche goofy suggestions, but it will also be cool to have more alternatives for every card. Here is more or less how more pages will look later: https://mtgreplace.com/cards/rhystic-study
Let me know, guys, if you have any feedback, if you like/hate something about the site. Opinions are really helpful to decide what to build. I am having so much fun working on this project :D
