First of The Harvest

We’re finally here!! You all have inspired me to expand my varieties this year! Added cattle panels and began trellising. I’ve never grown Black Krim and Brandy Boy and I really think they will always be in my collection 😋

Grow Bags

I live in 9b and the heat is about to pick up. It’ll be 95 in a few days and very dry. Then the temps will fluctuate between 95 and 105 for a couple months at least. Ive been wanting to insulate my grow bags…What do you like to use to wrap the outside or inside of your grow bags to insulate from the heat?

Fertilizer question

Got a question for you successful tomato growers out there. I’ve been using an organic blend my friends company produces 7-4-4 grow blend. Is that enough phosphorous and potassium for tomatoe development or should I switch to a different blend. Right now everything looks great and the tomatoes are definitely developing. I’ve got some miracle grow tomatoe fertilizer with something lime 18-20-20 but I want to stay organic 😎

Pineapple, Brandy Boy, Stupice and Early Girl

Wanted to show some of my varieties this year. We planted 18 varieties and the Stupice is the first to ripen. We’ve had 5 of them and can’t wait to taste the others 😋.
