Help me pick neocaridina color!
Over the past 6 weeks, I’ve been working on cycling this 2.5 gallon shallow filter less tank. My parameters are now perfect for neocaridina but I can’t decide what color to stock!
Ideally, I’d like to stick with one single color to ensure stronger colors when they breed. I currently have a skittles tank but the new generation is already starting to revert to wild types so I’m trying to avoid that with this tank.
I’m thinking black rose, jade green, or dark Bloody Mary could be cool! What do yall think??

Help
Please be kind, this is my first time setting up a tiny sponge filter like this. Is this expected behavior? Should there be bubbles coming out of the cylinder? It’s quite loud and yes if I reduce the air flow it slows down.
Also, should the cylinder be fully submerged??
This is still day one if my set up and the fluval dust hasn’t settled, there are also obviously no animals in here yet. I will eventually house neocardinia shrimp.
