My partner and I are off for a four week trip to Darwin from Adelaide, stopping along the way and will be doing a lot of walking. We go camping quite often in the Flinders, too, but I’ve always just walked in my Asics sneakers. Is it worth investing in some hiking shoes with more ankle support or stick to my trusty kicks? Probably looking at 5-8kms of walking every few days or so.
