Ideas on what this tree is?

First thought was maybe some sort of plum? We have two separate ones growing in the yard. I don't remember them ever having fruit on them until last year. I thought plum since we have a cherry plum tree (purple leaves in back of first photo) and these are growing next to it & the flowers are just a white version of the pink ones the plum tree gets. Put a photo of the single riper looking fruit on it, the red colored one. They only get about an inch and a quarter big? I'm mostly curious since we've got chickens and they eat the fruit that fall off the other trees in our yard so I want to make sure this isn't something weird they shouldn't be eating.

They're growing randomly in our garden but we didn't plant them. Tried looking on plant id sites but the results didn't seem to match when I look the names up. Got both Columbines & Dahlias as results. They're very small, like maybe only an inch or two.
