Update on refinishing floors in 1780 house
Update almost 4 weeks out from removing disgusting carpet and the thin subfloor. We counted 5 layers of paint on the wood floor and started with a chemical stripper, followed by sanding with a hand held orbital sander. Full respirators and goggles made for hot work. Getting ready to repair the holes and install wood slivers. Then considering renting a large sander from box store to clean things up. Thanks for any advice and feedback!
