A bird in a field of... vectors
This is the full creation process. From a background vector field to a bird.

Edit/improve/play around with this creation on QuillArt. Second image shows the editor view.
This is a recreation of one of my first drawings I posted here on r/generative.
Vector fields, as always, except now I can share with you the QuillArt project "art" link.
Wanted to see what would happen if used lots of items on the canvas.
I wanted to go back to the roots of the ArtField project (I call it that for now) by creating something a bit abstract, but with some meaning.
An attempt at an abstraction of https://www.reddit.com/r/Fractalish/s/cliw8NcaaQ by u/Big_Addendum_9920.
Life-like "alien" abstract creature.
(added a few quality of life features to the software, fixed some bugs, probably created others)
Exploring more "aquatic" themes.
Vector field technique, as usual.
It seemed that the "bird" of A Color in The Night was feeling lonely, so another came to life to keep it company. Born from colorful particles, and shaped by a vector field :)
Same physics-based technique I've been posting, this time with colors, and more black. Thanks to u/escapism_only_please for pushing me to add colors. Looks much prettier now.
I post-processed the last one with GIMP (Otherworldly Tree), but not this time.
Created using a physics-based technique where the canvas is a vector field you interact with.
I posted a first attempt yesterday, but I got a bit better at "composing". I also post-processed the raw result slightly with GIMP (not an expert). Basically merging 3 layers: original + gaussian blur + edge detection.
Both the final and the initial versions are shown here.
Hope you like it :)
Composed using a vector field-based algorithm. I'm better at designing algos than designing art, but this is what I can do with it so far.
(I posted 2 similar drawings on another sub-reddit, but I like this one better)
Hello,
This is my attempt at abstract painting with math. I was playing around with vector fields and thought I could produce something that has an organic feel to it.
This method can produce a lot more complex shapes an compositions, but I have to improve my own skills at using it.
I would be extremely grateful for any feedback.
Thank you :)
