Having issues with my sleep but I'm scared that my vyvanse will be taken away if I mention it

Hi :)

I started vyvanse in August 2024, I was on 30mg and eventually I went up to 50mg. It's been good, I've been much more stable mentally and I find life to be much better in general with the meds.I gained self control with alcohol, I even recovered from a lifelong ED with the help of vyvanse, and I've been maintaining a healthy weight since I started.

My issue now is with sleep. I've been on the 50mg for ages, but I've noticed that if I'm having a bad day and I mess up my sleep schedule, It'll take so long to get it back to a somewhat normal routine.

When it gets bad I'll stay up for over 40 hours, it makes me dissociate like crazy and I'll feel like shit for days after. Even then I'll still sleep for like 4-7 hours at most, which doesn't help after I already deprived myself of sleep.

I know it isnt 100% the medication and that I need to take responsibility for my own choices and bad habits, but sometimes I genuinely just can't sleep. I've tried getting into a routine, staying off my phone, being active in the day and everything, and it obviously helps a bit, but when it gets to the point where I'm just laying there for Hours, spiralling because I know that I'm running out of time, I start to worry that it is something else.

I'm worried that if I bring it up to my doctor he'll try to take me off of my medication. After a while of being on the meds my psychiatrist let me go and put my GP in charge of my prescription, and he's said himself he doesnt 100% know how it all works but that he knows enough to continue giving me the script and checking in to make sure I'm not experiencing any concerning side effects.

I cannot afford to lose my medication. I can't go back to being unmedicated or relapsing and potentially making my family's life harder. I know its something I need to get under control but I don't know how it'll affect my meds and it's freaking me out :(

I hope this is within the community rules, honestly I just need to hear other peoples experiences if anyone has had a similar thing happen. Thanks for reading:)

I've been searching for videos on how to do it but everyone says different things!! And they're always like "these other versions DO NOT WORK. follow mine instead" and AHH im so confused

I'm not super confident in my cooking, I can follow recipes and I can make quick dinners with some staple ingredients, but I've got no idea how to do this lol

I have a convection (?) oven, a ceramic cooktop and an air fryer if that helps. I don't own any cast iron stuff and my knives are cheap but I think sharp enough to score the skin.. maybe.. 😭

Also, What do I serve with it? and how do I juggle cooking Everything to stay hot until it's all done cooking?
