i keep dreaming about my sister dying
my sister is currently 2 years old, and i've been having nightmares about her dying ever since she was born. the most recent one is probably the weirdest.
it starts with me in an auto shop. i walk in and make eye contact with one of the employees and he kinda ignores me. i then sit down at one of the work desks and bother the tools a little. my parents walk in and we grab our shoes from under some random tree in the corner of the shop ?? idk how we ended up barefoot. so, we walk out of the shop and into this breakfast hall in this big ass lobby. im assuming we were at a luxury hotel bc people were carrying suitcases and everyone was obviously on vacation.
suddenly, my 4 siblings (all younger and including the 2yo) are standing with us as we wait for one of the 3 elevators to take us back to our room. while we were waiting for what felt like forever, a man was going around to each elevator and standing between the doors so they wouldn't close. that was obviously annoying since the lobby was packed, so i did what anyone else would do and cussed him out. except, everyone got mad that i called him out ???
anyways, we get on the elevator with another group of people. there were like 11 people on that thing, but there was still a lot of room. as we go up, i notice the floor is also moving up and kinda tilting. at one point, we had to crouch to avoid being crushed. but oddly, no one questioned it. once we reach our floor, the other group of people get off with no problem. but when my family starts exiting, the elevator begins to sink. once it's just me, my parents, and the 2 year old left, the elevator drops. it stops a few floors down, then continues dropping faster.
before we got on the elevator, my dad was carrying my sister in her car seat. mind you, she can walk on her own and she hasn't used that thing in a year. when the elevator reached the ground floor, the ceiling had come down but it was only really covering my sister. as i was digging her out of the mess, i started praying and begging to god. (im pretty anti religion, so idk what that was) my mom grabbed my sister and started cradling her. i screamed and frantically asked if the baby was okay. the dream ended when my mom started shaking her head.
ive had other nightmares about bad things happening to my sister, but this is the only one that i woke up in pain from. like my chest, limbs, and stomach were sore and i was out of breath. and i never believed that dreams had meaning, but this lowk got me questioning 😭
wowzers this was longer than i thought it would be.
TLDR: i have weird nightmares about my baby sister dying and it's worrying me.
